Bloganuary Day 8.

Dear World,

I started writing letters to you because I had things to say. Clearly. It often included rants that somehow turned into me providing valuable explicitly stated life lessons and the read-between-the lines types of lessons.

I just want to thank you for engaging with each letter I write to you. Some of your people don’t rock with the content in the letters while some of the folks love it and eat it right up. Anywhere your people fall along that spectrum…I love them regardless. It’s all love from me, no hate.

I love the fact that I can write to you and feel free from judgement and hate. Though I do get some shady messages and inquiries, I still feel generally unjudged. That’s good in my eyes.

I love the fact that you get to benefit, in general terms, from my misdeeds and misfortunes through my writing. Why do I say this? Well, you know those life lessons you get taught? Those lessons come from real life situations that have happened to me or in my life. It’s the fact that I can use my sense of humor in the silly things to teach simple but life changing lessons.

My content is relatable and I feel like that’s what the people of the World want from me, the Suburban Girl JA.

I love the fact that I can interchange my pseudonym with my real self to tell a story from my life or to tell the stories of other people (I’m getting back into this soon). I like the fact that you love my writing which was bourne out of my desire I to write freely.

I feel comfortable with you. I can hold you accountable and you can hold me accountabile. We have that kind of relationship, you know? That’s it really.

So again – thank you. You don’t even know it but you encourage me to write – even when it doesn’t feel like sense is being made. You allow me to be me and you allow me to write.

I have many more letters to write and much more content to write and produce. Keep on keeping on with me. Stay with me on this journey.
