I Stepped on a Crab and Avoided Being Pinched

If you’re scared, go in same way. Just do it gingerly. Sometimes the “go hard and done” mentality will get you nowhere but hurt. Approaching uncertain situations with calculated steps (and in some cases, missteps) can prevent you from being pinched in the long run.

My Place(s) Of Solitude

When you get sick or drop down and pass away, the people in your life will eventually move on (some more than others) and the list of to-do’s will either sit and gather dust or be passed on to someone else. Take your breaks and identify your spaces of solitude. Use your moments of solitude to get your mind right for you. Resist the urge to be reachable 24/7.

The beach was my 2021 refuge

I find that poetry is in motion whenever I go to the beach. I see my struggles represented in the manner nature shows herself to me. The high tides and low tides represent moments of turmoil and moments of serenity. The waves and the still waters represent the roller coaster-topsy turvy moments of my life. The view on the horizon represents the hope of a brighter tomorrow.
