Dear World,
I want to read my own books.
This one is rather short and sweet. Dare I also say that it’s prophetic because I will achieve my goal of being a published author.
Yes. future author here 👋🏾. Though I enjoy titles and genres from particular writers and authors, it would be remiss of me to neglect my aspirations and not mention my name.
I’m the future writer of non-fictional and fictional titles. As for the genres, I can tell you now that I want to author self-help books of sorts, biographies, and suspense thrillers.
I don’t see the road clearly all the way till the end, but I know that it’s in my future. Others — the established writers and authors — get mentioned often. It’s time for me to declare that my own work is what I want to read. I want to see my titles in bookstores in hard copy and in digital spaces. May you say that you have this book and that book, written by Candice K. Stewart, on your must-read list. May you buy the books and not ask me to foot you a free copy. Support me.
It’s not even about being arrogant or overly confident, it’s about having a desired goal and working to achieve it. I imagine it’ll be a rough journey, but I’m up for the challenge. I’ve been talking about it for far too long, anyways.
The lesson here is that we should speak positively over our dreams and then do everything in our power to try and achieve it. In my case, it’s becoming an author. Never mind what others might say about you. Just do it.
Signed,
The Suburban Girl JA® | Future published author of books
