Bloganuary 11, 2024 | the crazy ones

Dear World,

Define the adjective crazy

– extremely enthusiastic –
“I’m crazy about Cindy”

This is perhaps the second or third prompt for Bloganuary 2024 that I’ve found to be slightly questionable. I’m not comfortable with pitching any business idea on here for another to see it, steal it, and run with it. 🤣 Are you mad?! It would be even worse if there’s no procedure started to apply copyright protection or registered trademarking to such a business idea or an idea in general. Come on man.

That’s just me still. Your idea might be the one that propels you to heights you’ve never imagined. Go about sharing it with the world with caution.

For those of you who don’t know, the prompt is to “come up with a crazy business idea.” Uhm, absolutely not!

Instead, I would like to share a word of encouragement with the people this content finds or the people who find this content. These are words shared with the world by the late Steve Jobs.

All I have to say is that you should be brave enough to follow your dreams and see that your crazy ideas, at least, have a chance. Do not let them sit in your brain gathering dust and growing cob webs.

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

Steve Jobs

So, in a sense, the Bloganuary prompt makes sense. If you already have a crazy business idea, give it life and continuously feed it with positive energy and action. If it doesn’t work out, that’s fine. Just let it not be said that you gave up before you even tried. If you don’t have an idea as yet, think of your passion(s) and see where you could potentially build on that and turn it into a profit for you, your family, and for others.

Making sense?

Signed in pensive thought,

The Suburban Girl JA®
