What are you doing with the dash between your birth date and death date? That’s got to be one of the top 5 cliché questions/statements I hear at funerals. My answer is always that I’m existing in a world crumbling around me and that’s good enough.

The Inevitability of Death
Life is cyclical and where there is life, death lingers. Like a withering tree in the desert or the end of a season, people’s physical presence on earth ceases to exist because they’ve done their laps. They’ve weathered many storms, seen many a sunrise and sunsets. Then one day, their waking and going will just stop because their time has come.

As I see it, the experience of death stays. Even as I go through the stages of grief, I take my dead loved ones (guardian angels) with me in my going and coming.
