Today’s a short one.

Many people have a bad habit of listening to respond and not to understand. That means that the people who claim to know exactly what it is to communicate have it all wrong. For actual communication to occur, the receiver(s) should have a clear understanding and demonstrate that they actually do.

So, to answer the question, “what’s something most people don’t understand?” – they don’t understand their counterparts when they share an issue or a concern.

Understanding does not come easy, either. You have to train your brain and your ego to actually listen and not just hear. In your response, demonstrate that you understand what’s being said and share a balanced response taking the other person(s) into consideration.

Please bear in mind that my thoughts are for the sender(s) and the receiver(s). No one is exempt. Additionally, being a master communicator does not make you exempt. There is always something that you can improve upon as you’re not void of making errors.

They key here is to improve communication and see how your relationships improve.
